The American Legion Post 65, Delray Beach Post Commander, SAL Commander and Auxiliary President all invited the Nam Knights to the Post on Saturday, January 26th for their Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony. They will be retiring by burning all of the flags they accumulate over the year. The Delray Beach Fire Department is there to control the fire and the Boy Scouts help burn the flags. Attendees can burn a flag using the proper ritual as well. They are asking if any of us wishes to speak and/or retire a flag in honor of our fallen Brothers. After the half hour or so long ceremony, which begins at 3, they are serving a barbeque meal. This could be a new tradition for the club with a nice photo op ar a nice event with people who respect us a lot.
